these photos were taken in lower manhattan on saturday, september 9th.... just CLICK on the PICs themselves to see a larger version.

from a pier in the east river

the lightbeams shot into the bellys of lowflying clouds causing them to glow like ghosts in the sky

sometimes it looked like a mushroom cloud bursting in the sky above downtown

St Pauls church in the foreground

the ugly metal jail like facade they put where the towers used to be....

the clouds float through the blue beams like ghosts in the wind

they wouldn't let anyone get close to the base of the lighttowers... I guess they're afraid the maniacs will blow up our imaginary towers too

blue shafts

ground zero ... where the bigots hijacked not just some planes, but our future....

well maybe not all the world.... just the civilized world

we miss our ugly towers, but mostly....

we miss our friends, neighbors, husbands, wives, daughters, sons, mothers and fathers....

and we miss the firemen, police officers and rescue workers, who saved so many thousands of lives on that strange and evil day

may their souls be at rest in gods sweet hands
